I'm a computer novice. Is Intelliform really that easy to use?

It is often difficult for our prospective customers to believe Intelliform is as easy to use as we describe. But it is! We have a large number of customers who describe themselves as computer "beginners" or  "novices". Nevertheless, these customers were able to begin using Intelliform the day they received it, with no help beyond the standard operating tutorial that comes with the software. It usually requires most new users, even those with a limited amount of computer experience, less than an hour to become automated with Intelliform. One of the reasons Intelliform is so easy to use is our graphic interface. If you can fill out a form on a computer, you can operate Intelliform. After completing the form, you simply, "point and click" on the functions you wish to perform.

Who is a typical Intelliform customer?

A typical Intelliform customer ranges from a single distributor working alone to a distributorship with several sales reps and one or two customer service representatives.  Almost 80% of our customers are distributors working alone or have just one employee. A typical Intelliform distributor has annual revenues ranging from $50,000 to $1,000,000.

How do I determine the number of licenses I need?

The number of licenses you need is dependent on two factors: The first factor is the number of sales reps in your company. For instance, if you have two sales reps, you'll need two licenses; three sales reps, three licenses, etc. The number of licenses for each sales rep is independent of the number of computers Intelliform resides upon. The second factor is how many people will be using Intelliform at the same time. Any number of users on the same network will be able to access Intelliform. The number of users on the same network that can access Intelliform at the same time is determined by the number of licenses. For instance, you may have one sales rep (yourself) and one assistant who does pricing, order entry, etc. If your computers are networked, you will probably want two licenses. If you both use the same computer, or if only one computer accesses Intelliform, you will need only one license.

How often do you provide free updates?  

We update Intelliform at least once a year with new features and enhancements. Given the incredible rate of constant advancements in software development, Intelliform's policy of providing free updates is a tremendous benefit to distributors.

Can I use an Accounting program other than QuickBooks with Intelliform?

Many of our customers use an accounting program other than QuickBooks with Intelliform. However, QuickBooks is the only accounting software program to which Intelliform has an electronic link. With Intelliform and QuickBooks linked together, you simply click on a few buttons and your Intelliform data is automatically downloaded to QuickBooks in a few seconds.

What version of QuickBooks should I use with Intelliform?

We generally recommend that you use the latest version of either QuickBooks or QuickBooks Pro for importing data from Intelliform. Whenever QuickBooks releases a new version of it's software, we will make whatever changes might be necessary for Intelliform to remain compatible. As a result, it may be necessary for Intelliform users to upgrade to the latest version of QuickBooks. (We will not create multiple versions of Intelliform to work with various versions of QuickBooks.)

Why should I pay a monthly charge for Intelliform when I can purchase another program and own it?

The biggest reason to avoid purchasing a program is the rapid technological change in software. Because of the speed of advancements being introduced, a software program costing thousands of dollars will most likely be outdated, perhaps even obsolete, before you finish paying for it. Also, distributors who purchase software often find themselves “locked in” and then need to purchase expensive upgrades. Another cost of purchased software is that of technical support or “Maintenance Agreements”. Because these programs are difficult to operate for many sales people, the Maintenance Agreements are not only necessary but also required by many software manufacturers. On the other hand, Intelliform's monthly subscription eliminates the risk and inherent disadvantages of purchasing an expensive software program. With Intelliform, all updates are provided free of charge. Additionally, we provide free technical support by e-mail. Furthermore, with Intelliform you have complete flexibility. Should your business situation change, or if you find a program you think is better, you can cancel Intelliform at any time.

What type of forms do I need with Intelliform?

Intelliform is compatible with letterhead and plain paper. We also provide camera-ready artwork for preprinted invoices, at no charge.

Is technical support available?

Yes. However, most of our customers need very little technical support. On average, an Intelliform customer will contact us less than once a year for technical support. That is because Intelliform is highly intuitive, well designed and remarkably easy to use. As a result, there is no need for our customers to purchase costly "Maintenance Agreements". We are glad to answer, by e-mail, technical support questions at no charge to our customers.
